Narwhal72 Best in Class ACA 2010 Committee I like fish. Posts: 268	baby blue tailed goodeids 11/23/09 at 7:41pm The blue tailed goodeids I bought from Ken King at the swap popped some babies today. I am surprised at how big they are! Are they able to eat flake right away or should I start them on baby brine? I fed both today but the tank is so densely planted I couldn't see them feed. Andy

I could only find 3 today although I suspect there are a few more hiding in the plants. I could have sworn I saw 6 or 7 the first day I noticed them. I pulled out the three I saw just in case. Andy

I did manage to pull 5 of them out of the plants and move them to another tank just in case. The bad news is that two of them have deformed tail fins and I am going to cull them out. I guess I will have to wait for the next brood. Andy
